Global Girls develop a global perspective by looking at girls’ issues around the world, creating skits based on some of those issues and by traveling to different communities, cities and countries and then returning to share their experiences with peers. In 2005 and 2007, we traveled to Ghana in West Africa and in 2009 to Nairobi and Bware, Kenya taking girls out of their comfort zones and educating them on international issues.
