Performances

Internal program evaluation correlated performing arts training with program success. G Theatre Company has two components -the youth performance group “Company” and adult group “G Squared” (women and men), and both offer a theatre season as well as performances for hire.

The Company created and performs in our most recent production “Talk to Me”, a presentation about the urgent need for conversations between moms and daughters. A recent study on parent-child talks about sex and sexuality, found that more than 40% of adolescents had had intercourse before talking to their parents about safe sex, birth control or sexually transmitted diseases.

Currently, Company members host a CAN-TV call in show every other Monday from 4:30pm – 5:30pm. They discuss teen girl issues as well as issues of interest to the general public.
